The certificates of authenticity Angelo Arrigo serve to accompany every fine art print to guarantee its origin and to certify the materials used for making it.
They are sheets of paper, with a holographic stamp (hologram) Hahnemuhle applied to the left to the center. A copy of such stamps, obviously with the same serial number, is glued on the reverse of the print, so that the correspondence between certificate and the specific edition is univocal. They are security stickers that break if it is tried to detach them. This circumstance makes every attempt of falsification extremely difficult.
Every certificate is individually stamped bringing the name of the author, the title of the work, the printing method (giclée), the type of support (paper or canvas Hahnemuhle) and the employed inks (pigmented), and, in the case of a limited edition, the number of the specific edition and the total number of the edition.
In the case of collections of paintings/artworks in plexiglass, certificates of authenticity are made of sheets of quality and value, with the distinctive stamp of Angelo Arrigo.
The standard text is written in Italian and English (Angelo Arrigo is interested in the international market).
For additional security, a colour miniature of the work is also printed on the certificate, this also in accord to the law n. 1062 of January 25 th 1971, stating that the authentications of the pictures are written on the back (overleaf) of a photographic reproduction of the same picture.
Then, the certificate is dated, signed, obviously in original, from the author of the work.
The certificates Angelo Arrigo, whose holograms are produced in Germany by Hahnemuhle, are recognized and endorsed all over the world: after all, the printing materials Hahnemuhle (paper and canvas) have been the standard of reference as regards fine art print for a long time
