Definitions
These general terms and conditions of sale set out the relation between Angelo Arrigo and the User regarding the online purchase of products through the website. For more information not mentioned in these general terms and conditions for the sale and transportation, please see the Italian Laws and the related applicable discipline in the Italian Civil Code.
In addition to the above terms defined in the general conditions, the following words, have the following meaning, both singular and plural:

Indicates the agreement by the Client/Customer, sent online to arrigoart.com, to the Product's price (which is the total price of the Products, in case of a multiple purchase of goods), to the transportation expenses, to the characteristics and quality of the Product (or Products) and to the terms contained in these General Terms and Conditions of sale, Legal Notices. On the Purchase Order receipt, complete with the purchase details, will be automatically sent both to arrigoart.com and to the Client/Customer. |
§ 1.- Products
Signed Limited Edition Giclée Prints (SLEG) with certificate of authenticity- The Limited Edition Giclée Print begins with a high resolution, 300 dpi (dots per inch), scan, or photograph, or work of digital graphic art. This advanced image capture procedure results in a sharp image and true colour representation. Then the image is printed on high quality Fine Art Canvas 350 g/sm (grams/square metre m²) using the Giclée printing process. The result is a museum class fine art print with a light fastness durability guarantee as Hahnemühle and the giclée printing service's providers declare. The Signed Limited Edition Giclée prints are also available on high quality cotton paper Hahnemühle Photo RAG 308 g/sm (grams/square metre m²).

Open Edition Prints/Posters - The Open Edition Print begins with a high resolution photograph or scan, 300 dpi (dots per inch), or work of digital graphic art. This advanced image capture procedure results in a sharp image and true colour representation. Then the image is printed on canvas or paper.
Compositions for interior décor in Signed Limited (and Open) Editions (SLECOG – SOECOG- SOECO) – They are created using the same techniques, materials and processes used to print product categories previously described, depending on whether or not giclée.
§ 2.- Declarations about the products
The Products are displayed and made visible on the website in an accurate manner and consistent with their actual characteristics. However, we are aware of the fact that computer screens may have various settings and therefore could display colours that may not perfectly match with the actual ones.
The measures described in Product / data sheet, in some cases, may not coincide exactly with those of prints you will receive. Infact, some rounding, more or less, may have been applied, however, between 0 and 5 mm (millimetres) for images with the side of greater size up to centimetres 50, between 0 and 1,5 cm (centimetres) for images with the side of greater size up to 1 meter, and from 0 to 5 cm for images with the side of greater size up to 3 meters, and between 0 and 8 cm for larger images (not standard).
In addition, whereas the dimensions shown in data sheet relate to the images without margin, the price calculated on the correspondence of all sizes also includes the margin. For details read as described in the "Information" section of this site.
In the case of Signed Limited Edition Giclée (SLEG) and Signed Open Edition Giclée (SOEG), the term “canvas” indicates the prestigious Hahnemühle Fine Art Canvas 350 g/sm in all museums, art galleries, collectors and most prestigious institutions worldwide. The terms “paper” and “cotton paper” indicate Matt Fine Art Hahnemühle Photo RAG 308g/sm, well known and recognized worldwide at museums, professionals and art galleries, etc.
The quality of prints, thanks to Giclée process, is among the highest currently available on the planet, in the field of Art, far exceeding other techniques and processes of reproduction. To read and deepen knowledge about recognized quality and value of Angelo Arrigo art prints, materials and procedures used, an area specially dedicated to quality of products is available on this site.
The certificates of authenticity Angelo Arrigo serve to accompany every fine art print to guarantee its origin and to certify the materials used for making it.
They are sheets of paper, with a holographic stamp (hologram) Hahnemuhle applied to the left to the center. A copy of such stamps, obviously with the same serial number, is glued on the reverse of the print, so that the correspondence between certificate and the specific edition is univocal. They are security stickers that break if it is tried to detach them. This circumstance makes every attempt of falsification extremely difficult.
In the case of Unlimited Edition Prints/Posters (UEP) the term “canvas” indicates canvas fine art 350 g/sm (m²). The term “paper” indicates artistic paper.
All materials used are standard trade products and we can only guarantee inks, substrates and fade resistance based on vendor-supplied information.
§ 3.- Warranty – Refund Policy
Customer has the right to return incorrect or defective merchandise. Claims have to be made within 10 days after delivery. Complaints can be in form of recorded letter using the following address:

We will establish contact within 72 hours after receipt of complaint. Should the customer withdraw the complaint the merchandise will be considered accepted and delivered.
On Standard products, which are posters where sizes and substrates are not changeable, we offer a 10 day return period for undamaged or unaltered merchandise.
Returns are not accepted on any custom products, because art prints are produced based on the customer's choices.
Angelo Arrigo is not liable for insignificant deviations of the delivered product compared to product descriptions. Insignificant deviations like slight variations in colour, size and the substrate texture are expected due to technology applied. Such insignificant deviations do not entitle the customer to return merchandise. Appearance of products can vary compared to on screen appearance due to different graphic cards, monitors or browsers. Please consider the content of the above “Declarations about products”.
§ 4.- Payment mode
The prices include VAT.
Angelo Arrigo is an Italian contemporary artist, therefore every sale will be considered as done within the Italian territory and is subject to the national tax; the internal, international and the custom fiscal regulations will apply, where applicable.
The sales carried out outside the EU territory may be subject to local taxes, import charges or custom charges, related to which, Angelo Arrigo declines any responsibility.
Angelo Arrigo relies on PayPal to allow their Clients/Customers to buy in total security. The User will be redirected to the PayPal payment page to enter the reserved data.
Paypal
As regards purchases of net aggregate due amount up to Euro 1500.00 both the following payment modes are available: payment by credit card (VISA and MASTERCARD) and by PayPal account. While for purchases of net aggregate amount superior to € 1500.00 the Client/Customer can pay by PayPal accont only. Alternatively the Client/Customer must contact Angelo Arrigo or through email to the address: payment-method@arrigoart.com , or by telephone to the number +39 3335702193, in order to straight proceed with a bank transfer, or alternative methods.
In the case of bank transfer it will take longer, as Angelo Arrigo launches the preparation of the product ordered only after having received the bank transfer of the Client/Customer.

§ 5.-. How to Execute a Contract with Angelo Arrigo
In order to place an order for the purchase of one or more products on www.arrigoart.com, you must fill out the online order form and send it electronically to Angelo Arrigo, following the relevant instructions.
Each customer must provide Arrigoart.com with accurate and valid information (name, billing address, delivery address, product features, print material and size, etc...) required during the order process. Each customer remains responsible for any damages caused by the information he provided to Arrigoart.com in the order form (mistake, inaccuracy, omission) ; as an example, customers will support the consequences of any late delivery including without limitation the financial damages caused by a delivery to a wrong address.
An order shall be deemed to have been submitted when Angelo Arrigo receives your order form electronically and the order information has been verified as correct.
Before submitting your order form for the purchase of products, you will be asked to carefully read and accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. I invite you to print a copy and to save or reproduce a copy thereof for your own personal use.
The order form will be filed in our data base for the time required to process your order and as provided by law.
Before submitting the order form, you will be able to identify and correct any possible input errors.
English and Italian are the languages used for executing contracts with Angelo Arrigo.
After your order form has been submitted, Angelo Arrigo will process your order.
Angelo Arrigo may not process purchases when there are not sufficient guarantees of solvency, when orders are incomplete or incorrect, or the products are no longer available. In the above cases, within thirty (30) days from the day after Vendor has received your order, we shall inform you by e-mail that the contract has not been executed and that Angelo Arrigo has not carried out your purchase order specifying the reasons thereof. If the products displayed on www.arrigoart.com are no longer available at the time of your last access and once Angelo Arrigo has received your order form, Angelo Arrigo shall inform you of the unavailability of the ordered products within thirty (30) days from the day after Vendor has received your order. If the order form has been sent and the price has been paid for items that are no longer available, Angelo Arrigo will refund the amount paid for those items within the same thirty (30) day time frame.
By submitting an order form to and making a contract with Angelo Arrigo, you unconditionally accept and undertake to observe the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Should you not agree with certain provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, please do not submit your order form for the purchase of products on www.arrigoart.com.
By submitting an order form, you agree and accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale(including the Right to return- Refund Policy), as well as further conditions contained on www.arrigoart.com, even through links, including the Legal Notices - Terms and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy, Shipping and delivery of the products.
Upon submission of an order form, Angelo Arrigo shall send you a purchase order receipt e-mail, containing a summary of the information related to the order form (the product’s main characteristics, detailed information on the price, terms of payment and shipping costs).
§ 6.-. How to order
To compile an order you need to register with the website and, afterwards, to follow these steps:
6.1. Product choice
Choose the product by selecting it on the online catalogue or free search. A detailed form will be displayed.
6.2. Format choice
Choose and select the desired format and the printing materials (paper, canvas, etc) amongst the available ones as shown in the details form. The product will be added to the shopping basket, on which it will be possible to change the quantities and remove products.
6.3. Start checkout
When the shopping basket contains all the chosen products, click on 'checkout'.
6.4. Protected access and entering the delivery details
In case you haven't logged in yet, you will need to enter your user name and password. Then you will be able to view and verify or enter your delivery details.
6.5. Choose the payment mode
Choose the payment mode from the available ones.
6.6. Order summary
The order summary allows you to check the steps taken are correct and to proceed to the purchase.
6.7. Entering the payment details
Depending on the method of payment chosen, you must enter the data of your credit card or PayPal account, and thus finalize the purchase. 6.8. Conclusion
At this stage the order is completed and we will take care of your requests. The Client will receive a confirmation of the Completed Order via email, this should be kept until the goods are received. As soon as arrigoart.com receives proof of the completion of the Order Angelo Arrigo will prepare and dispatch it. You will receive your invoice together with your parcel.
§ 7.-. Sicurezza
The purchases carried out in the payment modes we proposed will be subject to high security measures guaranteed by Paypal.
All the entered data in these secured systems do not transit on our servers, thus guaranteeing a further security level.
Angelo Arrigo is not therefore responsible of the possible fraudulent and illegitimate use that can be done from third subjects of credit cards to the action of the payment of the purchased products. This proper because Angelo Arrigo, in any moment of the procedure of purchase, is able to know the number of credit card furnished by the buyer which directly transmits his/her own card number to the base of PayPal that operate this payment service.
§ 8.-. Shipping and Delivery of the Products
For specific product shipping and delivery procedures see the section “Shipping and delivery of the products“ by the “information” area. Please read these sections carefully. The information provided in these sections forms an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and, consequently, shall be deemed to be fully read and accepted by you at the time your order form is sent.
§ 9.-. Property rights
All products remain the property of Angelo Arrigo until full payment has been received including all shipping charges, or until their delivery. If this occurs last. The risks of rupture and / or tear of products pass the customer on delivery of goods to the courier.
§ 10.-. Right to Return - Refunds Policy
The law Decree D.Lgs no. 185 of 22/05/1999 describes the regulations related to the Right to Return for the buyer when the agreement to a purchase contract is not settled in a commercial environment. Therefore it includes the purchases carried out online.
The Right to Return is only for standard products, (posters, art prints produced accordingly to the standard sizes and materials with lesser side of not more than one meter.
Returns are not accepted on any customised products, because art prints are produced based on the customer's choices. Everyone has the right to return the items if they have purchased them from our website.
This right can be taken advantage of with no opposition motivations. However, in order to constantly improve our services, we would like to receive, even if not specific, a comment on what happened.
The return right is not allowed to judicial persons (i.e: companies, retail, etc.) and to the physical persons who act in their own personal commercial activity interest. The right of withdrawal is exercisable only by individuals who purchase with the ticket and not with invoice and VAT for which the use of the product is not related to their professional activity, as the law applies only to non-professional users.
The right to return the items has to be carried out through recorded delivery, within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the items, using the following address:

By taking advantage of this right, the buyer will have the right to receive a full refund, excluding the costs of shipping and delivery. The transportation will be carried out at the Customer's charge.
On request to Angelo Arrigo, the buyer has to provide the following data: a copy of the original delivery note, in case of partial return, the code of the item/s to be returned and the bank details on which you need the money transfer (IBAN account code of the invoice recipient).
The right to return cannot be applied to all the products that were originally sealed, that have been opened by the Customer.
The items should be returned in their original condition, non damaged and complete, and repacked in their original packaging otherwise Angelo Arrigo will not accept the Customer's items.
The items regarding the signed limited editions Giclée, and the signed open editions Giclée, should be returned together with their related certificates of authenticity with both the holograms non damaged, as we do not accept the return of items, without them.
If the required conditions are complied with, Angelo Arrigo will refund the entire cost of items, less a processing fee of € 5 for each returned order. The original shipping costs cannot be reimbursed.
The payment of the corresponding amount to the Customer who is returning the material, will be done via bank transfer, by the bank chosen by the Customer him/herself, within 20 working days from the date of receipt of goods by Angelo Arrigo.
§ 11.-. Intellectual property rights – Copyright- Trademarks
As regards the intellectual property rights, copyright, trademarks both the parties refer to our Legal Notices – Terms and Conditions of Use, which forms an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
§ 12.-. Privacy
We recommend that you read our Privacy Policy, (which explains our online privacy practices), and the specific informative reports available throughout this website.
§ 13.-. Jurisdiction and competent court
Who visits this website, and takes advantage of the products offered by Angelo Arrigo, agrees that any relations derived from it is regulated by the Italian law and that any controversy is to be submitted to the court of PALERMO.
The trademarks in this site are regulated by the Italian and European standards on the safeguard of trademarks. Any drawing, symbol or image displayed on this website are subject to copyright and the any non authorised reproduction is forbidden.
§ 14.-. Governing Law
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law and the related applicable discipline in the Italian Civil Code.
§ 15.-. Amendments and updates
The General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be amended from time to time due to new laws and regulations or other reasons. The new General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be effective as of the date of publication on www.arrigoart.com.
